The 2023/24 UEFA Champions League group stage draw has not happened yet. It will take place on Thursday, August 31, 2023 at 18:00 CEST (17:00 BST, 12:00 ET) in Monaco. The draw will be broadcast live on UEFA’s website and YouTube channel.

The 32 teams that will be involved in the group stage draw have already been confirmed. They are:

The 26 winners of the Champions League and Europa League qualifying rounds
The 6 teams that qualified directly for the group stage as a result of their UEFA club coefficient
The teams will be drawn into 8 groups of 4, with the following restrictions:

No team can be drawn in the same group as another team from their own association.
The four teams that qualified directly for the group stage as a result of their UEFA club coefficient will be seeded in Pot 1.
The draw will be conducted by former UEFA Champions League winners Michael Owen and Laura Georges.

The teams will be seeded into four pots, with Pot 1 containing the four teams with the highest UEFA club coefficient. The remaining teams will be seeded into the other pots based on their coefficient.

The draw will be conducted in two stages. In the first stage, one team from each pot will be drawn into Group A. In the second stage, the remaining teams will be drawn into the remaining groups, one by one.

To avoid teams from the same association being drawn in the same group, the following restrictions will apply:

No team can be drawn in the same group as another team from their own association.
The four teams that qualified directly for the group stage as a result of their UEFA club coefficient cannot be drawn in the same group as a team that qualified through the qualifying rounds.

The 2023/24 UEFA Champions League group stage will begin on September 6, 2023 and will end on November 2, 2023. The top two teams from each group will advance to the knockout stage.

Manchester City, Sevilla, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Napoli, Paris Saint-Germain, Benfica, Feyenoord

Pot 2:
Real Madrid, Manchester United, Inter Milan, Borussia Dortmund, Atlético Madrid, RB Leipzig, Porto, Arsenal

Pot 3:
Shakhtar Donetsk, Red Bull Salzburg, AC Milan, Braga, PSV, Lazio, Red Star Belgrade, Copenhagen

Pot 4:
Young Boys, Real Sociedad, Galatasaray, Celtic, Newcastle United, Union Berlin, Antwerp, Lens
