How to Increase uTorrent Download Speed

Torrent Downloading is one of the best way to download files from Internet. uTorrent is one of the most popular BitTorrent clients, it is easy to Use and very efficient. Download Speed depends on Seeds which downloadable file has got, if seeds for particular file is more then you will be getting high download speed. 

Number of Connection

Go to Options > Preferences > Bandwidth and change the No. of connection. Generally Global maximum number of connections =”230″ change it to “400” and Maximum number of connected peers per torrent -“80” Change it to “200“.

Enable Protocol Encryption 

Go to Options > Preferences > BitTorrent, Find the field  “Protocol Encryption” and change the outgoing  value to “Enabled”. 

Advanced Setting 

This are setting are to be done if you want to increase your downloading Speed.

bt.connect_speed  Set value =”80″

bt.ban_threshold  Set value =”80″

bt.auto_dl_sample_average  Set value =”80″

bt.auto_dl_sample_window  Set value =”80″

rss.update_interval  Set value =”80″

Configure Your Network for Best Performance 

Go to Options > Setup Guide and Select your Upload Speed, but to check your Upload Speed you can use speedtest.net  Now Run the Test and this provide you Test result .

Additional Funtions

Mostly Use Force Start if your downloading speed is very Low and always give Bandwidth Allocation –> High. 

While Downloading file from torrent don’t forget to see the Number of seeds and Leechers.
